Featuring the voices of Christopher Plummer, the late Lynn Redgrave and Isabella Rossellini, My Dog Tulip is a bittersweet account of author J. R. Ackerley’s 16-year relationship with his adopted German shepherd, Tulip. Based on Ackerley’s (1896-1967) memoir, the film is the first animated feature to be entirely hand drawn and painted utilizing paperless computer technology.
