eventdetail
Kino Lorber

One of the most influential silent films, Eisenstein’s masterpiece about mutiny on the armored cruiser Potemkin is restored to as close to its creator’s bold vision as its 1925 Moscow premiere. Missing shots have been replaced, the title cards reinstated and the definitive score by Edmund Meisel enhances the film. This program is co-sponsored by the Bellaire High School Russian Club. The film is black and white, and silent with a musical soundtrack.
