The Filipino Young Professionals of Houston hosts "Salamat," a cultural festival organized to show appreciation for Houston's unprecedented assistance to communities devastated by Super‐Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines. The event will feature a Filipino buffet, street food and cultural and local talent performances.

Funds raised will go to FYP initiatives, including scholarships to students in the still-recovering areas.
