United Against Human Trafficking hosts the fifth annual Big Dipper Dash 5K Run/Walk, an evening race under the stars in The Heights. The race route begins in Stude Park and runs along White Oak Bayou with views of downtown Houston.
The post-race party will feature food and drinks from California Pizza Kitchen, Saint Arnold Brewing Company, Nothing Bundt Cakes, Torchy's Tacos and more. Race participants will also receive a T-shirt from Freeset, a Fair Trade Certified company through which survivors of human trafficking create and screen-print items.
