Richard Saenz, who's been creating his line since 1997, includes frayed hems/edges, deconstruction, asymmetrical cuts/shapes, hand-stitching, burned fabrics and unfinished looks in his avant-garde designs. His work is influenced by Rei Kawakubo (Comme des Garcons), Martin Margiela, Susan Cianciolo, Yohji Yamamoto and Hussein Chalayan, and has been worn by notables such as Kim Gordon (Sonic Youth), Susan Cianciolo, Rossy de Palma, Twiggy Ramirez and Shirley Manson.
