Fallen Firefighters Benefit

Houston lost four firefighters in a fire in Southwest Houston Friday, in a disaster that was dubbed the deadliest day in the history of the Houston Fire Department. Fallen fighterfighters include Captain EMT Matthew Renaud, 35, of Station 51, Probationary Firefighter Anne Sullivan, 24, of Station 68, Firefighter EMT Robert Garner, 29, of Station 68 and Engineer Operator EMT Robert Bebee, 41, of Station 51.

A silent auction with items ranging from apparel, fine jewelry, furniture and sports memorabilia will be used to raise funds for the firefighters' families. Heavy appetizers and cocktails will be served.

Credit card and cash donations will be accepted at the door along with checks made payable to the Houston Texas Fire Fighters Federal Credit Union. Click here for donation details.
