Exploration Green Conservancy presents Wetland Walkabout

Exploration Green Conservancy will present the annual Wetland Walkabout, where visitors can learn about the importance of wetlands to clean urban storm runoff before the water reaches the bayous and bays. Galveston Bay Foundation will be on hand to show how easy it is to set up rain barrels at home. Texas Community Watershed Partners will explain how wetlands have been incorporated into Exploration Green's nature plus providing volunteering opportunities. The Native Plant Society of Texas--Clear Lake Chapter will be giving out native seed packets while supplies last. Texas Master Naturalists will be on hand to provide guided tours of the nature park and answer any questions about this beautiful urban green space and nature preserve.
