At Picnic in the Park, guests can celebrate the first anniversary of Evelyn’s Park and Earth Day. It will be a day of picnicking and festivities across the great lawn and gathering spaces presented by Acme Party and Tent and Green Mountain Energy.
The event will feature fitness classes, games for kids of all ages, and special storytime in the park. The public dedication for the newly revealed “Move One Place On” sculpture will take place at 2 pm. There will also be entertainment by local schools including Emery Weiner, Pin Oak Middle School Band, Horn Elementary, Westbury High School, and a performance by the Bellaire Belles. A variety of food trucks will be on hand.
