Eternal Light presents the next mixer in The Soul of the Artist Series, featuring Michael Temple, aka Maddkyng, at the Agora Haus. The evening will feature light snacks, live DJ and cash bar will be available. All artwork on display will be available for purchase.
The 29-year-old Houstonian jumped into art full-time after graduating from San Diego State University with a bachelor’s degree in painting and printmaking and a minor in Africana studies. He originally went to school for business finance but switched after his freshman year because it didn’t fulfill his artistic needs.
His creativity comes from his experience with art history and traveling to big art shows and observing other artists work.
Following the opening reception, the exhibit will be on display until April 21.
