Join the Energy Corridor of Houston Orchestra for "Tangos and Toreadors," a musical journey through Argentina and Spain. The performance will include works by celebrated Argentine composers Alberto Ginastera and Astor Piazzolla, considered the world's foremost composer of tango music, and a performance of the well-known tango La Cumparsita.
Spain is represented musically by Lecuona's Suite Andalucia and selections from Bizet's Carmen Suite. ECHO is conducted by Michael Fahey.
A pre-concert dinner from Manena's Argentinean Pastry Shop and Trentino Gelato will be available for purchase.
