Ceramists in Kingwood and surrounding areas – professional and amateur – are invited to join in a Bowl-a-Thon to make clay bowls to be donated to the Houston Food Bank's annual Empty Bowls Houston event on May 18.
A collaboration between Houston area ceramist, woodturners and artists working in all media, the Houston Center for Contemporary Craft and Lawndale Art Center, Empty Bowls is an international effort to fight hunger, implemented in Houston to benefit the Houston Food Bank.
