El Centro de Corazón’s 9th Annual Making a Difference Luncheon will benefit El Centro’s health care centers that offers pediatric and adult primary care, women’s health services, dental care, and behavioral health services. There will be a short program with national speaker Sonia Manzano, author and “Maria” on Sesame Street.

The event will be co-chaired by Leisa Holland-Nelson and Leila Perrin. El Centro will also honor community leader, Janiece Longoria, and corporate leader, CenterPoint Energy, for their leadership in the Houston community.

The mission of El Centro de Corazón is to promote the individual, community and social health of the East End and the greater Houston area.
