El Centro de Corazón presents 13th Annual “Making a Difference” Luncheon

The 13th Annual Making a Difference Luncheon will benefit El Centro de Corazón, a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization that provides a comprehensive range of pediatric and adult health care services, which include primary care, women’s health, dental, and behavioral health at its four health centers in Houston’s East End.

The event will be co-chaired by Cyndy Garza Roberts and Frances Castañeda Dyess. The luncheon will honor El Centro’s longtime supporters and advocates, Making a Difference Community Leader Honoress Leisa Holland-Nelson and Leila Perrin and Making a Difference Corporate Leader Honoree Gulf Winds International. This year’s keynote speaker is Dr. Alfredo Quiñones-Hinojosa, world-renowned neurosurgeon & neuroscientist, and author of Becoming Dr. Q: My Journey from Migrant Farm Worker to Brain Surgeon.
