The East End Improvement Corporation and the East End Houston Cultural District will host the 2022 East End Street Fest.
Visitors and art fanatics will be able to enjoy Cinco de Mayo weekend with a mix of Mexican and Chicano art, music, food, and culture. The East End Street Fest will include more than 20 food and art vendors as well as various music and dance performances in different areas and plazas.
The City of Houston Cultura Stage Presented by Port Houston will feature local musicians, including Sister Sister, Zenteno Spirit, Roberto Rodriguez III, and headliner Grupo Vital. Plaza de Luchadores and Plaza de Piñata will showcase folkloric dances from different areas of Mexico performed by Ballet Folklorico Herencia Mexicana de Houston and Ballet Folklorico de Solei. Car lovers will enjoy the show and shine lowrider collection at the Chicano Boulevard, and kids will bounce around at the Plaza de los Niños.
