Earthen Vessels features the music of Ella Fitzgerald and Duke Ellington with dances that explore the elements, the periodic table and a historical tribute to a man of the Earth, Cesar Chavez. The performance includes former Houston Ballet principal Lauren Anderson and new works choreographed by Steve Rooks (formerly with Martha Graham), Trey McIntyre and founding artistic director Sandra Organ Solis.
This special anniversary concert concludes with an opening night soiree.
