No e-mails or even E-vites here: Crisis Intervention of Houston's annual bash is themed "The E-vent of the Year" not for some new-fangled technology but for the women being honored: Ericka Bagwell, Elizabeth DeLuca, Eliza Duncan, Ellen Susman and Ellie Sweeney, who all make the letter 'E' proud.

The event takes place April 9 at The Corinthian and will feature cocktails, dinner and dancing, and all proceeds support the work of Crisis Intervention, a United Way group that helps those in crisis every day and night.
