A pairing of professional opera and classical musicians who bend the boundaries of music genres and artistic genres, Divergence Vocal Theater's Artistic Director and soprano Misha Penton, baritone Michael Walsh, and sopranos Alison Greene and Natasha Manley will perform contemporary vocal works in English accompanied by piano. The program will include the premiere of musical settings of the poetry of Amy Lowell, Emily Dickinson and William Blake. Dominick DiOrio, Doctor of Musical Arts candidate, Yale University, will be one of the presenting composers.
