Jazz Salon: Chicago will focus on the music made famous by some of Chicago’s legendary musicians, including Benny Goodman, Albert & Gene Ammons, Dinah Washington and Frankie Laine. From early swing to blues to popular standards, Jazz Salon: Chicago will highlight the unique sounds and styles that have inspired so many musicians. The concert will also incorporate an interactive discussion on the history of Chicago Jazz.

Artists include Delfeayo Marsalis, trombone; Bobby Lyle, piano; and Mark Gross, alto saxophone, as well as guest artists Herlin Riley, drums; David Bryant, piano; Joshua Ginsberg, bass; Keith Loftis, tenor saxophone; and Phil Dizack, trumpet.
