This year the annual Dickens on the Strand festival features performances from Steampunk band, Airship Isabella and art students from the Via Colori street painting festival.
Start off the weekend with the Pickwick's Lanternight Parade and top it off with a Christmas open house at the Menard House, Galveston's oldest residence.
