Meet Brooklyn designer Ilana Kohn over drinks and light bites while shopping her current and past collections at a special discount. Local Houston ceramics artist Angel Oloshove will also be showcasing her newest work.

Kohn's eponymous line of clothing, textiles and accessories is designed in Brooklyn. She followed her studies at the Pratt Institute with seven years in commercial illustration. In 2010, she brought her well trained eye for color and contrast to clothing design. Before long, she was painstakingly devising her own bold textiles.

Oloshove crafts her goods at the Glassell School of Art's ceramics studio. A ceramist and toy designer, she finds her influences in pop culture.
