Design Now-Houston Lecture: "Architecture is not Graphic Design"

In conjunction with Graphic Design-Now in Production, CAMH presents Design Now-Houston, a five part lecture series that explores a wide-range of graphic design output in the city. For this lecture, Amanda Hayes-Valentine of ph Design, Raj Mankad and Reto Geiser will present their work individually, followed by a dialogue between the presenters and a short question-and-answer session with the audience. 

Amanda Hayes-Valentine spent time in New York City where she held positions with networks Nickelodeon and Oxygen, and worked on campaigns for VH1, ESPN International, USA networks, Buick and Coppertone. Raj Mankad is the editor of Cite Magazine. Reto Geiser is Wortham Assistant Professor at the Rice School of Architecture, whose work on the book Atlas of Novel Techtonics was awarded the 2007 the Goldene Letter by the Stiftungbuchkunst, the highest distinction in book design.
