"Design Fair 2010: Learn. Shop. Connect." is a fresh twist to one of Lawndale Art Center's longstanding galas. Formerly the 20th Century Modern Market, Design Fair 2010 features vintage modern objects of the 20th century as well as cutting edge contemporary design. The best in design for furniture, glass, ceramics, lighting, books and fashion will be for sale to collectors and enthusiasts alike. A special feature, new in 2010, is the Texas Co-Op, curated by Tootsies top dog and local retail legend Mickey Rosmarin, who brings his unique and sophisticated perspective to Texas Design. The Co-Op is an excellent way to experience, learn and collect new Texas design. The gala honors Paula Murphy for her years of dedication to Lawndale Art Center and this event.
