Houston Assembly of Delphians presents the second in its Delphian Distinguished Speaker Series featuring Laurence "Larry" J. Payne, author of The Heart of Houston. Delphians, guests and members of the community are invited to a reception, followed by Payne's presentation.
Payne, host and producer of Dialogue Houston, a community affairs program, and host of Interchange talk show on Public Radio 90.1 FM, explores "Lessons in Servant Leadership" in his new book, The Heart of Houston. Drawing inspiration from 21 city leaders whose lives impact all sectors of Houston, Payne shares their philosophies of servanthood, providing a window into the ways some of Houston’s greatest contributors are able to create success for others, for their teams, for their communities and ultimately for all of us — through serving.
