This opening event is the first of three receptions that will be held throughout the life of the exhibition. The show is called "Real Eyes," and the three receptions will be tagged, respectively, as Realize Fashion, Realize Film, and Realize Music.
Throughout his career, Angelbert Metoyer has explored many facets of his creativity. One of those facets is textile work, which has easily, and rather naturally, translated into fashion.
The opening, and the first two weeks of the show, will feature select articles of fashion by Angelbert and will be complemented by pieces from Tootsies. Tootsies will arrange the fashion presentation with displays and models. The goal is to show the seamless connection between art and fashion, with the common denominator being, of course, Angelbert Metoyer.
Following the opening reception, the exhibit will be on view through January 11.
