The 12th Annual Deacons of Deadwood Charity Gala will benefit Houston children's charities and features a live performance by the original Moving Sidewalks, an American psychedelic blues-rock band that's notable for giving future ZZ Top guitarist Billy Gibbons his start in the music business. The band consists of Gibbons on guitar, Don Summers on bass, Dan Mitchell on drums and Tom Moore on keyboards.
There will also be a pre-party at Hendrick's Pub (3320 Kirby Dr.) from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
