Dawn Mountain presents Beyond Hard Knocks: Creative Buddhist Voices on Learning from Experience

Dawn Mountain Center for Tibetan Buddhism will host a special symposium on the art of modern spirituality amid chaos at Rice University. The symposium is co-sponsored by the Rice Department of Religion and the Chao Center for Asian Studies and marks a milestone birthday for Dawn Mountain co-founder Anne Carolyn Klein.

To create a meaningful celebration, five experts in Buddhism and religion will present on living your values, Buddhist views on grief and end of life learning. Dawn Mountain Founders Anne C. Klein and Harvey B. Aronson will also participate in the event titled, “Beyond Hard Knocks: Creative Buddhist Voices on Learning from Experience.”

Speakers Marcia Brennan, Guy Newland, Ken McLeod, Daniel Cozort and Sarah Jacoby will discuss their subjects separately and in dialogue.
