David’s Dream Run is an annual 1K/5K run and walk held to honor the memory of David, affectionately known as “the Bubble Boy.” The event is sponsored by the children, parents and staff of David Elementary School in The Woodlands, which was named and dedicated in his honor. 100 percent of funds raised will be donated to The David Center at Texas Children's Hospital, which specializes in advancing research in immunodeficiency diseases. Face painting, live music and food are included.
