Kicking off the weekend, Thursday’s First DASH preview party will give guests a “first look” at over 80 unique dealers with the latest products and hottest design trends while supporting a worthy cause - a percentage of ticket sales will benefit the Houston Furniture Bank. ASID (American Society of Interior Designers) students will also receive a discounted ticket price with presentation of their student IDs. Shoppers can sip on Tito’s Vodka, Calamity Gin and Manuscript Cellars wine while enjoying live music and snacking on light bites provided by Island Grill.
On Friday morning, interior designers will get an exclusive early look at the “Designer Sneak Peak,” followed by a happy hour and book signing open to the public on Friday evening. Shoppers will have the opportunity to purchase Jane Page Crump’s newest cookbook, Designed for Dining, with a percentage of sales benefiting Gaston LeNôtre Scholarship fund at LeNôtre Culinary Institute in honor of her son, Jason Allan Crump.
New this fall, “DASH Turns the Tables” will showcase the four co-founders’ own talents with fall-themed centerpieces on display throughout the weekend, each reflecting a unique design approach. The shopping continues throughout the weekend with special guests and home design industry leaders sharing how-to’s, and DASH dealer Hibiscus Linens will teach an embroidery class. Wrapping up the weekend, DASH will specially welcome young families to swing by for a “Stroll and Shop” event, giving them a time to browse with the kids.
DASH will host several new dealers from all over the US with chic and modern furniture, art and lighting, while continuing to feature tried and true favorites that offer the best in American design and home décor.
