Folk origins in music by Norwegian, Polish, Turkish and Hungarian composers will be presented by the renowned Houston-based Dancewicz-Doucet Duo (Dominika Dancewicz, violin and Donald Doucet, piano).

The duo will also present “Flying Sirto,” a fascinating Turkish folk idiom piece by an award-winning young Turkish composer Erberk Eryilmaz, and the famous set of “Six Romanian Dances” by Bela Bartok. This diverse assemblage of works reflects the duo’s fascination with diversity reflected in music of different cultures and times.
