Through a kaleidoscope of dance forms, Domari recounts the story of Marion Carruthers and her interaction with a group of Romani who arrived in Scotland in 1530.
When attacked by a visiting Laird, Marion takes refuge with these "Gypsies" until King Henry's Egyptians Act drives them from Scotland. Forced to marry against her will and thus remain behind, Marion must entrust the Romani and her best friend with her newborn daughter as they wander through Europe.
Domari is a story of friendship, family, prejudice, tolerance, acceptance and love.
