Called a “rhythmic juggernaut” by NPR Music, drummer Jeff “Tain” Watts combines forces with Nicholas Patyon on trumpet, David Sánchez on saxophone and Christian McBride on bass. The WATTS project was inspired by the Los Angeles riots in 1965 and comments on politics, sarcasm and irony through percussion, swing and improvisation, respectively.
