Da Camera's season finale chamber music concert, "Folk Songs Transformed: Old Into New" at Wortham Center features acclaimed mezzo-soprano and cabaret performer Jean Stilwell, rising-star cellist Amit Peled, pianist Sarah Rothenberg and Houston Symphony concert master Frank Huang.
The program includes: Prokofiev's Overture on Hebrew Themes, Brahms' Trio in A Minor, Op. 114, Enescu's Violin Sonata No. 3 in A minor dans le caractère populaire roumain, Op. 25 and Berio's Folk Songs for mezzo-soprano and seven instruments.
