The London-based Elias String Quartet has quickly established itself as one of the most intense and vibrant quartets of its generation, fiercely devoted to the quartets of Beethoven. Elias String Quartet: Beethoven Perspectives features an outstanding work from each phase of the great German composer’s career: String Quartet No. 1 in F Major, Op. 18, No. 1; String Quartet No. 9 in C Major, Op. 59, No. 3 and String Quartet No. 15 in A Minor, Op. 132.
2015 sees the Elias Quartet complete their groundbreaking Beethoven Project: performing and recording the complete string quartets of Beethoven.
