Da Camera presents “Beethoven for All: Calliope String Quartet,” an educational concert experience designed to engage the entire family. The quartet will use Beethoven's String Quartet No. 3 in D Major, Op. 18, No. 3 to show the important roles that teamwork and empathy play in the performance of chamber music.
The Houston-based Calliope String Quartet was formed in 2014 by graduates of the Shepherd and Moores Schools of Music: violinist Laura Cividino and Hannah Watson, violist Rainey Weber and cellist Annamarie Reader.
This performance is a part of Beethoven for All - the complete Beethoven string quartets for free, in celebration of Da Camera’s 30th anniversary season.
