Cypress Symphonic Band will host their first concert of the season, where they will be combining some of the music that would have been performed in October, and traditional Christmas music. Due to Hurricane Harvey flooding some members homes, the decision was made to cancel the October concert.

The theme for the concert this season is “Monsters, Myths, Legends and Heroes.”  The selections for this concert will be “A Most Wonderful Christmas,” “Selections from Wicked,” “March of the Toys,” “The Anguish of Nosferatu,” “A Mad Russian’s Christmas,” “Winterfest,” “Sleigh Ride,” and the world premieres of “The Oneiroi – The Thieves of Lost Dreams” and “Vanquish for Band,” two of the Call for Scores contest winners.
