A performance/installation created by renowned visual artist Suzanne Bocanegra, Rerememberer is performed by an orchestra of 50 individuals playing the violin who have never played the violin before. Performers are identified locally and offered a rehearsal of only one hour prior to the performance. Violinists are accompanied by other performance elements including a weaver, accordionist, DJ and conductor (to be played by renowned violinist Todd Reynolds).

Inspired by weaving instructions — codified on a five-line staff identical to that used to write music — Rerememberer translates these instructions for the creation of a textile to a multi-faceted, living installation/performance experience.
