Girls like Cyndi Lauper just want to have fun, and lately, Lauper's had a lot of it. She participated in Celebrity Apprentice, appeared on Bones and The Late Show with David Letterman. She's also recently launched the "Give a Damn" campaign — an initiative to encourage straight people to stand up with the LGBT community.

Musically, she just released a new album, Memphis Blues. Songs she's well-known for include "Time After Time" and "Change of Heart."
