Each quarter, CultureMap invites young professionals to a hot spot on the food and drink circuit for a happy hour that is both fun and purposeful. Guests mingle with friends, make new connections and learn about a featured nonprofit that is making a difference in Houston.
At October's CultureMap Social, sponsored by Yellow Cab, CultureMap will kick off the fall fashion season in the spirit of giving back. CultureMap editor in chief and resident fashion expert Clifford Pugh and local lifestyle and fashion blogger Julie Bortnick of "from prosecco to plaid" will host the city's top fashion bloggers and boutiques to share tips on style, beauty and hair trends for fall.
The first 150 guests will take home swag, presented by Beauty Now.
Attendees will learn about Young Texans Against Cancer (YTAC), an organization that increases cancer awareness among the generation of 22-40, and Ballet Barre, young professionals dedicated to inviting patrons to becoming more involved with Houston Ballet.
