At the heart of the exhibition “Velour” is Natalia Filippova’s mastery of velvet and fabric as artistic media. Working across a rich spectrum of techniques - patchwork, crazy quilt, crazy collage, boro, and sashiko - Filippova transforms cloth into layered, tactile narratives that bridge fine art, textile tradition, and personal expression.

Following the opening reception, the exhibit will be on display through July 13.
