The Waggoners Foundation Speaker Series was created in memory of June and Virgil Waggoner’s son Jay, who died of alcoholism at the young age of 36. The Spring and Fall Luncheons each attract more than 1,000 attendees and raise a combined total of close to $1,000,000 each year to directly fund The Council’s many programs that help individuals and families affected by alcoholism, drug abuse, other addictions, and co-occurring mental health disorders.
The special guests for this luncheon will be Doria and Craig T. Nelson.
