One of the last second generation abstract expressionists, former Houstonian Tony Magar has found his inspiration through the reflections in the water and the solitude of being on the bay. At this event, the artist will be interviewed by Jina Brenneman, curator of visual arts at the Harwood Museum of Art at the University of New Mexico. A brunch reception at 11:30 a.m. precedes the dialogue, which starts at 12:30. Magar's current exhibition, Diamonds in the Bay, is on view through March 16.
