Houston's Cy Twombly Gallery, a collaboration of the Menil Collection and Dia Art Foundation that opened in February 1995, is the subject of a new book published by The Cy Twombly Foundation. The gallery's drawings, paintings and sculpture, mostly gifts of the artist, are reproduced in color. The two essays are by then-Menil director Paul Winkler and Carol Mancusi-Ungaro, conservator of the work Twombly gave to Houston, who is now at the Whitney and the Harvard art museums.
Winkler and Mancusi-Ungaro will discuss and sign copies of the book.
