Two gorgeous pianos — built in Vienna in the early 1850s by Ignaz Bösenderfor, the founder of the famed company that still makes exquisite pianos today — are reunited for Context's season-closer. Pianists Hyojin Ahn and Brian Connelly play two rarely-heard gems by Robert Schumann, along with Johannes Brahms' Hungarian Dances and the original version of his Variations on a Theme by Haydn, a major masterpiece of the two-piano repertoire.
