Works for sale include hand-woven, hand-spun, hand-dyed and hand-felted linens, garments and accessories, tapestries, rugs, baskets, jewelry, baby items, toys and holiday decorations. All items are made by hand by Contemporary Handweavers of Houston guild members — many of whom are nationally and internationally recognized fiber artists and teachers — and are made from fine materials such as silk, wool, cotton, bamboo, wire and willow. Styles range from edgy and funky to elegant and traditional.

An opening reception and preview sale will be held Thursday evening from 6 to 9 p.m. Weaving, spinning and various other fiber arts will be demonstrated by CHH members throughout the event.
