Join Houston-based artists Y.E.Torres (YET) and Jandro for this month's Skill Set workshop and learn the fundamentals of flow arts. In this Skill Set, YET and Jandro will discuss the history of flow arts and teach the fundamentals of spin, introducing object manipulation of props such as hula hoop, veil and poi.

Students will learn fundamentals of waist and off the body hooping, veil dance basics and an array of poi techniques and variations such as flowers, butterfly, weaves and box-stepping.
