Artist Gracelee Lawrence will teach 15 participants the creative and technical methods used to create complex macramé, crochet, finger knitting and woven structures. Participants will learn how to translate technical crafting skills such as knotting and weaving into both abstract sculptures and functional objects such as woven bags and baskets. Each participant will also receive a take-home illustrated workbook created by Lawrence that complements and expands on the topics covered during the workshop.
