River Oaks Chamber Orchestra welcomes acclaimed pianist Simone Dinnerstein and Chinese composer Chen Yi Feb. 13 for its conductorless concert series.
Conductorless performances enhance the intimacy between collaborating artists by removing the barrier between orchestra and audience. With 40 musicians, it's rare for an orchestra of ROCO's size to attempt to perform without a conductor, but ROCO will boldly perform Beethoven's Fifth in celebration of Valentine's Day and the Chinese New Year.
