Concrete Utopias: 1960s Architecture and Urbanism

The public is invited to a symposium in which several scholars and architects at the Gerald D. Hines College of Architecture will discuss the innovations of the utopian projects put forth during the 1960s, as well as their relevance to the present day. An opening reception will be held at 6 p.m., followed by a welcome by Michelangelo Sabatino and keynote address by Jean-Louis Cohen of New York University. The symposium continues on Friday, Feb. 18 at the College of Architecture Theater, Room 150.
