Come see the complete version of Fritz Lang's Metropolis (1927), the grandfather of science fiction film. About 20 to 25 minutes of lost footage was discovered at the Museo del Cine in Buenos Aires. The original version was cut by the Universum Film AG, a leader in World War I propaganda, after lukewarm reviews. If Argentine film distributor Adolfo Z. Wilson had arrived in Berlin two months later, this complete version would not exist.
