"Come to the Table – Serving Hope to Houston's Homeless Body, Mind and Soul" benefiting The Beacon

The event will feature some of Houston's most acclaimed chefs who share The Beacon's commitment to help the poor and homeless. Guests will enjoy a cocktail reception al fresco in Nancy's Garden followed by a seated four-course, chef-inspired dinner prepared onsite in The Beacon Day Center.

Host chefs include Randy Evans (Haven), Claire Smith (Shade, Canopy) and Hugo Ortega (Hugo's and Backstreet Café), Ziggy Gruber (Kenny & Ziggy's), Kevin Naderi (Roost) and John Sheely (Mockingbird Bistro). The evening will be emceed by Melanie Lawson of ABC Ch. 13 Eyewitness News.

Proceeds will benefit The Beacon, a nonprofit that helps restore dignity, self-respect and hope to Houston's poor and homeless.
